Ricardo Torres-Rivera is the CEO and President of Xevalics Consulting LLC. Ricardo has over 25 years of experience in Project Management and Validation Consulting in the Biopharmaceutical and Lifesciences Industry. He has managed teams in the implementation of IT services for Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology, Research & Development (R&D) and Contract Development Manufacturing Operations (CDMOs). These clients spanned industries including Gene and Cell Therapies startups in locations including Puerto Rico, the United States and Germany. Ricardo has implemented, assessed and validated about 200 systems and software solutions throughout his professional career.
Ricardo has a passion for quality. His clients and peers in the industry recognize his keen sense of urgency and work ethic when managing projects and data integrity.
Through all these years managing projects in the life sciences industry, Ricardo has mastered his approach to effectively organizing people, technology and processes, resulting in positive project outputs and data integrity. This fierce dedication has contributed to the rapid delivery of business values. Keenly combining soft skills and critical thinking, he leads teams to focus on the solution rather than the problem when issues arise. This determined attitude toward project management has gained the respect of his clients, assuring them that when Ricardo is in charge, the job will get done.

Ricardo holds a bachelor’s degree in business with a major in Information Sciences and Graduate Studies in Urban Planning, both from the University of Puerto Rico at Rio Piedras Campus. Ricardo has been a certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2015.
